A week out already! Sure went fast.
Drove the 210 miles to Erie State Park today. Got in about 4pm. Nice place, a lot of families with a lot of kids on summer vacation. We are just one campsite off the water so we only have a partial view of Lake Erie, but it is nice anyway. The beach here and on all of Lake Erie cannot compare to Lake Michigan. Lake Michigan is pure, clean, white sand dunes. Lake Erie beaches are rough crushed shells and rocks. Flat and no dunes. So the views are beautiful from the campsites because there are no dunes to climb over to see the water, but the beaches are not very inviting. I keep saying pictures are coming but have not spent the time yet to do so. Tomorrow will be the day I catch up.
