Day 11, Wednesday, July 4, 2007

Well, it's the July 4th week and prime time here on "the shore" but it's really not very busy. The campground is full but the streets are not congested at all. That's good for us, but quite a suprise.

Good weather today, but raining tonight.

We drove around Kennebunk and Kennebunkport today and saw the Bush "compound". What a choice piece of real estate!

Ate a lobster roll at the famous "Clam Shack" in Kennebunkport right at the bridge crossing. It was a lot better than the Maine Diner lobster roll we had last night, but only a 7 on our scale of 1 to 10. It can only get better!

We want to tell these people how to prepare a lobster roll but who are we to judge!
