Day 16, Monday, July 9, 2007

Today is our last night in Camden. And what a wet one it is. Rained most of the day. We hiked up Mt. Battie this morning when the rain stopped for awhile - about two miles each way. Then we did a wine tasting at a local winery in the afternoon, but for the most part we just tried to recover from our excesses of the last few days. We decided to take a break from lobster and eat steak for dinner tonight. Had a real competitive euker game. Jim and Dea triumphed over the lesser skilled Tim and Ellen.

Ellen's new best friends from Connecticut...Cool people. We met them at Sea-Vu campground in Wells, Me. over the 4th but just got around to adding them to our blog. Hope that you all had enough Budweiser & Cabo Wabo to get thru the day.....

Ellen's other new best friends from New Hampshire that we were with at Sea-Vu. We had some good laughs around the campfire. Gene, how is that 30 pack of Budweiser cans treating you?

Hi Auntie and Jim! I love checking up on you guys, it looks beautiful out there. I wish I could join you guys for a lobster feast. It is extremely hot here, it has been in the high 90s for the past few days...not fun. Love, Meg
